It was so lovely to see smiles on everyone’s faces and hear about Brownies, Guides and Rangers’ achievements – from ‘just one more step’ up the climbing wall, stepping over the edge on Zip Wire and Abseiling and getting to the top on Jacob’s Ladder. There was also lots of fun to be had closer to the ground – Problem Solving was a firm favourite and I’m sure several of the activities will be making their way back to the meeting place!
For those who haven’t been away with Girlguiding before, we hope this gives you the confidence to consider taking your girls away for more adventures independently in the future!
Last but not least, a big thank you to Kim for organizing the weekend – without someone behind the scenes doing the calls, the paperwork and the planning, these wonderful memories can’t be made.
