Jack Petchey Foundation

Girlguiding Croydon are very grateful to be in partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation. The foundation recognises the individual achievements of young people and provides grants and awards to further inspire and motivate.

Twice a year, peer groups get to nominate those aged  11 to 25 whom they recognise as outstanding.  This could include those that are great role models or that have overcome challenges in their guiding.  As well as a £300 grant for their unit, each September all award winners are invited to attend one of the foundations fun ceremonies to be presented with a medallion in front of their families, friends, Girlguiding and VIPs.
