It’s summer. It should be quiet, but girlguiding Croydon is never totally quiet.
2nd July – This evening the Guides did 2 UMA’s: Easy Breezy and Sneaky S’mores.

6th July – 14th Coulsdon guides plus a couple of older brownies had a great couple of hours paddleboarding and windsurfing. They got off the lake minutes before the heavens opened,it even rained in the outdoor changing rooms but the girls didn’t care!! Lunch was eaten in a drier changing room instead of the outdoor picnic and the sun re emerged just in time to go home!!!!

9th July –

11th July – We received a thankyou from Orkney: We had the best time visiting Radcliffe and London from Orkney. We got to join up with South Norwood guides too. Thank you Croydon for your hospitality. Xx [They shared lots more great photos but we don’t display photos where you can clearly see the girls faces]

14th July – Congratulations to Bethany who has completed their Queen’s Guide award.

16th July – 5th/7th Shirley Guides last meeting before the summer was outdoor cooking at Radcliffe. Pan pizza, pancakes and Smores were enjoyed by all.

19th July – The first time these guides have built a fire and cooked on a fire and guide leader Ellen is super impressed.

29th July – 1st and 2nd New Addington brownies have had a wonderful time at Blackland farm. Bouldering and Tunnels…#messybrownies #happybrownies. Next for the guides and rangers.
29th July – 8th Purley, 16th Purley, 9th Sanderstead Brownies and Spitfire Rangers have returned from 4 lovely days at Heyswood, Cobham. They enjoyed Low Ropes, an amazing wide game based on Trolls and completed their camp skills builder and individual camp challenges. A great time was had by all.
